What skin enhancing treatments are available?

How we can help you achieve better quality skin that looks glowy, brighter and fresher

At Aestheticlinix we offer a wide range of treatments to help enhance the skin, both in and out of clinic.

Many patients come to us with skin concerns, ranging from ageing to scarring and pigmentation. Which is why we offer a range of treatments as one size doesn’t fit all and we believe a bespoke service to all of our patients.

Polynucleotides are extracted fragments of fish DNA. They essentially are made up of long chains of nucleotides, which are the building blocks of DNA and RNA found in the human body.

They promote cellular growth within the skin and encourage collagen and elastin production by kickstarting the body’s own regenerating process. Brilliant for anti-ageing, under eye concerns, rosacea and redness sufferers and uneven skin tone and texture.

Medical microneedling is an effective treatment for uneven skin texture, especially those left with post-acne scarring. The process is called ‘collagen induction therapy’ which stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production in the body to help maintain a smooth and even appearance to the skin.

We offer a range of skin resurfacing and chemical peel treatments to help patients with hyperpigmentation, sun damage and ageing. This also extends to a range of treatments that target active acne, rosacea and ageing concerns. Resurfacing allows a controlled, yet targeted delivery of actives to the skin whilst preserving the integrity of the skin resulting in maximised skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime or irritation.

A very popular treatment that has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. Profhilo can restore glow to the skin, provide maximum hydration and helps to tighten sagging areas and crepey skin that is commonly associated with ageing.

Skin boosters deliver vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and hyaluronic acid to the skin. Everything required for the skin to glow, look youthful and refreshed. Skin boosters can help to also reduce the appearance of ageing lines and wrinkles and improve hyperpigmentation.

How long does it take?

A detailed consultation will be carried out to assess the areas of concern and carry out an overview of health, expectations for the treatment and any questions.

A bespoke plan will be devised specifically to you to ensure you leave with natural results that enhance your look.

The treatment time can vary depending on the concern(s) and how many areas are treated. Typically an appointment including consultation time is expected to last 45 mins or more.

How long does it last?

This is not only dependant on which skin enhancing treatment has been advised by our practitioners but also results can vary from patient to patient (factors such as genetics, medication, lifestyle and environment all play a role) but typically results last between 4-8 weeks depending on initial presentation and the volume required.

Post procedure you can expect to see your results immediately, of which will take 3-4 weeks to settle to give a true result.

Is there any downtime?

Almost all patients can resume their normal activities post procedure. Aftercare instructions are given post treatment. Please follow our recommended protocol to ensure you maximise the longevity of your results.
